Bookings

A booking is only confirmed once I have replied to say so. New clients must complete a free meet-and-greet before the first booking, and provide full details of their pet’s health, behaviour, medication and vet.

Cancellations

• Walks and visits: 24 hours’ notice, otherwise the visit is chargeable.
• Overnight stays and holiday packages: 7 days’ notice.
• Weddings: deposits are non-refundable once the date is held.
• If I have to cancel, you are refunded in full and I will help find cover.

Payment

Invoices are issued as agreed at booking and payable by bank transfer. Holiday packages and weddings may require a deposit to secure the dates.

Keys and access

Keys are coded, never labelled with your address, and stored securely. They are returned on request or at the end of our arrangement.

Veterinary care

If your pet becomes unwell or is injured, I will contact you immediately. If you can’t be reached and treatment is needed, I will take your pet to your registered vet. Veterinary costs remain the owner’s responsibility.

Health, behaviour and safety

Owners must disclose any history of aggression or health conditions. Dogs are only let off lead with written permission and reliable recall. Care may be declined or ended if a pet poses a risk to itself, to me or to the public.

Vaccinations, insurance and liability

Pets must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatment. Maddie’s Walk & Stay holds public liability and care, custody and control insurance. I am not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by your pet in your home, or issues arising from information that wasn’t disclosed.

Photographs

Photographs are taken during visits and shared with you. They are only published publicly with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
